DICKSON & PLATTEN EXHIBITION
Dickson & Platten Architects: 1950-2000
A public exhibition by Phillips/Pilkington Architects and the University of South Australia Architecture Museum with New Project Photography By David Sievers

OPENING HELD FRIDAY 6 OCTOBER 2017, ODASA, LEIGH STREET ADELAIDE

This project was conceived as a partnership between the University of South Australia's Architecture Museum and ourselves.  It was generated by our own personal connections to the Dickson family, our 10 year working environment at the D&P office, the sheer volume of archive material in the Museum and their immense reputation and deep respect of the design excellence of the firm and built projects.

Dr Julie Collins was an invaluable co-curator for the project and tirelessly worked to generate the best outcomes.  ODASA very kindly donated their ground floor foyer gallery for all of October 2017 and supported the whole venture.  We are proud of the achievement.  It is here for review and for any party that wishes to host this work.  There is also a catalogue that we hope to be available to put up online for sale in the near future.  Our large thanks go to all our sponsors, listed on p.2 of the exhibition, without whom none of what you see would have happened.

Michael Pilkington, May 2018.
