Gum Park Homestead Redevelopment

The redevelopment of Gum Park included major alterations to the homestead, redevelopment of the shearer’s quarters to guest accommodation and conversion of the old laundry and out-buildings to farm office, bathroom and cellar. A large informal Living, Dining and Kitchen was created at the rear of the existing homestead and a new Bathroom was inserted within the original house. The design respects the heritage values of the homestead complex with major restoration undertaken and develops light and airy new living spaces, transforming a badly rundown building complex to an attractive rural retreat.
