TWO WELLS VILLAGE GREEN & PUBLIC TOILETS

Phillips/Pilkington were engaged by Jensen PLUS for the design and documentation of a new accessible Public Toilet with baby change facilities for the new Village Green at Old Port Wakefield Road, Two Wells for the Adelaide Plains Council.  The Village Green will provide a new community recreation space including new paving, seating, lighting & feature tree planting, a new picnic area and nature playspace, open turf for congregations with picnic shelters and informal performance space, and improved connections to the existing Community Garden and Historic Wells Reserve.  The new building is a simple concrete, steel and timber batten box with an exterior hand-washing sink, which also provides a shared toilet facility for the adjacent heritage-listed Two Wells Public Library.
